Dr. Bess Ng

Dr Bess Ng is an Associate Principal with the Schneider Electric’s Sustainability Business in Singapore. Her direct roles include market development and client engagement activities for sustainability-related services, including climate target setting and sustainability strategies development, supply chain decarbonization program design, portfolio-based sustainability performance improvement and implementation planning . Her segments of focus include real estate, hospitality, semiconductor and life sciences. She also has a keen interest to advance new business transformation models for enterprises to fuel momentum and growth opportunities along their net-zero and sustainability journeys.

Bess has over 14 years of professional experience in driving technology innovation, industry transformation and sustainable development. Her direct project experiences include smart city estate planning and development, advanced manufacturing technology road mapping and supply-chains re-alignment, energy market regulatory analysis, techno-economic feasibility of grid-level solar-storage projects and IoT solutioning implementation in the advanced clean energy, automotive, mobility and real estate sectors in the US, Singapore, China and ASEAN-5. She has participated in international and local standardization initiatives by the International Electrotechnical Commission and Enterprise Singapore on relevant smart grid and smart nation standards.

She is a Green Mark Accredited Profession in Facility Management (Building and Construction Authority, Singapore) as well as Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) certified (Global Association of Risk Professionals). 

Bess speaks fluent English, Mandarin, Cantonese and basic Bahasa Indonesia.
