Mr. Edward Farrelly

Responsibility 

Edward is responsible for coordinating, developing and monitoring the Marsh Real Estate Industry Practice Plan, which drives specialized, industry-led client servicing efforts for Real Estate firms across the region. He is intimately acquainted with the operational requirements and realities of firms in the industry, providing clients with tailored advice across the diverse range of risks faced by their businesses  

Edward is also pivotal in facilitating interaction with other international Practice groups, wider MMC resources and the insurance market in general. As a recognized Real Estate leader, he collaborates with appropriate industry associations and co-ordinates marketing activities.

Experience

Prior to joining Marsh, Edward spent over 12 years with CBRE, which is also a Fortune 500 firm. There, he held leadership positions across several functions, including servicing of key accounts, providing advisory & transaction services, research, and business development.

He specializes in identifying growth areas in Real Estate, drilling down to pinpoint opportunities and execute in accordance with clients’ requirements. He has advised on all manner of transactions in both Europe and Asia, across the client spectrum – Occupiers, Landlords, REITS, Investment Funds, Private Investors and Government Entities. Edward has also performed the role of company spokesperson, speaking at key conferences and appearing on national, regional and global media platforms to promote company activity, aligned with client interests.

· Bachelor of Arts Degree (Economics and Mathematics) granted by the National University of Ireland

· Postgraduate Higher Diploma in Information Technology granted by the National University of Ireland

· Past Real Estate Committee Chairman for the American Chanber of Commerce ( Amcham HK) 

· Past member of the the European Research Group Steering Committee for the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC)
