Mr. Marshall Lee

 Marshall assumed the role of Asia Climate & Sustainability Strategy leader in 2022. The mandate of this role is to develop solutions to help clients navigate the impact and opportunities from climate change, nature and sustainability. Current focus is on supporting FI, Insurance and real economy clients on climate adaptation, climate mitigation with a focus on building sustainability into their strategies and business models. 

Prior to this role, Marshall was the Chief Operating Officer at Marsh Asia. As the head of operations and technology, he led the design and execution of Marsh Asia’s Target Operating Model, including setting up operations teams and centers of excellence, process re-design and revamping the firm’s capabilities around IT and data analytics. 

Marshall first joined Marsh in 2014 as Head of Strategy, Asia Pacific. In that role, he led the development of regional strategy as well as the cascade of regional priorities to countries, segments, and products to support execution. 

Before joining Marsh, Marshall was a director at Standard Chartered Bank’s Group Strategy team. Marshall arrived in Asia in 2007 to join Marakon Associates - a strategy consulting outfit. Prior to Asia, Marshall worked in consulting and insurance in New York. 

Marshall earned an B.S in Electrical Engineering from Columbia Engineering School, and MBA from Columbia Business School.
