A Mechanical Engineer by training, Choon Yong brings more than 5 years of building services design and project management expertise to Lendlease, which he joined in 2022.
In his current role, Choon Yong looks after the Environmental Sustainability portfolio for Lendlease Global Commercial REIT, devising and charting a pathway for the REIT to meet its Absolute Zero target 2040.
In his previous role at Lendlease Singapore, Choon Yong oversaw the Sustainability portfolio across Investment, Development, and Construction. He spearheaded the development and implementation of a Singapore specific sustainability program aligned with the Group's global strategy. He also led the development of the Sustainability Asia Minimum Standards, launched in April 2023.
